Dr. Edwin W. Maldonado is a fellowship trained and Board Certified Pain Management specialist by the American board of Anesthesiology and the American board of Pain Medicine. Dr. Maldonado uses the most advanced modalities for the treatment of acute and chronic pain conditions, with the purpose of returning his patients to a healthier and more productive lifestyle.
Dr. Edwin Maldonado was born and raised in Puerto Rico. There he completed his medical education at Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, PR in the year 2000. After moving to the United States, he completed an internship year at Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Anesthesiology residency followed at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. Following the anesthesiology residency, he completed a fellowship in Pain management at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Maldonado became a Board certified anesthesiologist in 2005 with Certifications by the American Board of Anesthesia and in Pain medicine in 2006.
After working in private practice for 10 years, Dr. Maldonado founded Cannabis+ MD. With multiple locations through Palm Beach and North Broward County, Edwin W.
